In my first 13% of the book I was so engrossed I didn't want to put it down. I've read a LOT of romance books and this was nothing like I've read before. The writing style was refreshing — consistently 1st person but switched between characters/chapters, which I love. The characters are incredible: full of alpha males, but Alexandria is no doormat.

At around 20% I thought I had it figured out... nope — took me for another "spin." Aptly named the Spin It series for more reasons than one! I gave up trying to figure it out and just enjoyed the ride. This is NOT a cliffhanger — it's the first story of many, with a nice HEA that gives a prelude to the next book.

If you're looking for a new author with fresh ideas, unexpected turns, hot and steamy scenes, and an overall exciting romantic read — buy this book!

This being the third book in the Spin It Inc. Series, I am ashamed to say this is the first Angera Allen book I've read — but I have now one-clicked the others and am going back to read about Izzy's best friends Alexandria and Ginger. Coming in hot at Book 3, there is enough background to enjoy it as a stand-alone, but I'd advise starting with Alexandria and following through. The writing is fantastic and you won't be disappointed.

The love of music features heavily throughout, and the dance club and DJ atmosphere fairly resonates from the pages — as does the testosterone wafting behind Gus and his MC mates as they work to find out who is threatening the safety of the female club patrons and our girls.

And Gus — oh lordy me, I am such a sucker for an Irish accent. Boy, he can talk some kind of ‘dirty’ when he wants to. Lucky, lucky Izzy. Life can take a cruel turn, and it is satisfying to see her man take care of her as she realises her inner strengths.
